Di ritorno dalla pausa estiva ricominciamo a parlare di arte e fotografia proprio partendo dai giorni in cui ci siamo lasciati. il 2 agosto Nikon ha annunciato i vincitori del Nikon Photo Contest 2012-2013.
Scelto tra quasi 100.000 partecipanti e vincitore del Grand Prize di quest'anno è il lavoro della fotografa Israeliana Dina Bova dal titolo "Elegy of Autumn". Come nella maggior parte dei suoi lavori l'artista mette sapientemente in mostra il suo mondo fatto di allegorie e metafore. Un mondo nel quale coesistono emozioni differenti.

Dina Bova commenta così le diverse storie che convivono nel suo scatto vincitore:
"it is a melody of autumn – a story about elderly couple living together all life, each in his personal world, each with his own secrets. It’s also a story about immigrants living in a tiny apartment, still keeping their old festive clothes and other memorable things from the previous life. It’s a story of people who live modest life, but with dignity. It’s a story that has both – sadness and smile…
In this artwork the spheres serve as metaphors for dissociation from the outside world and even from each other."it is a melody of autumn – a story about elderly couple living together all life, each in his personal world, each with his own secrets.
